The UniFi AC Pro is one of the classic UniFi access points that helped popularize controller-based Wi-Fi in small and mid-size deployments. Even as newer Wi-Fi generations arrive, AC Pro units remain in service across many Chicago and North Shore properties, delivering stable wireless connectivity for everyday use and for security-related applications such as mobile apps for cameras and access control. We often encounter AC Pro infrastructure when taking over existing networks, and we can typically extend, tune or migrate these deployments rather than ripping everything out. For new projects with modest wireless requirements, the AC Pro is still a reasonable choice where budget is tight but managed Wi-Fi is preferred over consumer gear. In the 7DVR.com
