Product overview and installer notes
2N Access Unit M is a slim mullion-mount IP access control device built to fit on narrow aluminum and glass door frames. It brings the same modern IP architecture and credential flexibility of other 2N access units into spaces where a standard single-gang reader simply will not fit. For Chicago North Shore projects with a lot of glass storefronts, modern lobbies and narrow door frames this device solves both aesthetic and mechanical challenges. It supports secure credentials and can be integrated into a full 2N-based or mixed-vendor access control design with proper VLAN and network planning. We like to use Access Unit M at side entries, glass vestibules and interior office doors that need managed access without bulky hardware.

Service, upgrade and maintenance
If you already have 2N hardware on site and the system is unstable, we can audit it, fix urgent issues and plan upgrades step by step instead of forcing a complete replacement. This includes systems originally installed by other vendors.
We offer free estimates for projects in our service area. New service clients also receive a 50% discount on the first service visit for troubleshooting and diagnostics, including systems we did not install.
