Product overview and installer notes

The Paxton KP75 is a combined keypad and proximity reader that allows card-plus-PIN or code-only access on doors connected to Paxton Net2 or Switch2 systems. This “two-factor at the door” design is ideal for back-of-house entries, storage rooms, telecom closets and other locations where you need more than just a fob tap. In Chicago North Shore buildings it is common to see KP-series readers protecting maintenance rooms, low-voltage spaces and management offices, giving boards additional assurance that critical areas are locked down. The slim design and familiar keypad layout make it easy for staff and contractors to use, with minimal training. We often recommend KP75 when management wants to enforce stronger access control at a handful of sensitive doors while keeping standard readers elsewhere.

Service, upgrade and maintenance

If you already have Paxton hardware on site and the system is unstable, we can audit it, fix urgent issues and plan upgrades step by step instead of forcing a complete replacement. This includes systems originally installed by other vendors.

We offer free estimates for projects in our service area. New service clients also receive a 50% discount on the first service visit for troubleshooting and diagnostics, including systems we did not install.

To move forward, go to the Contact page and mention model KP75 in your message. You can also attach photos of your existing equipment, panels or racks to speed up the design and service process.
