Product overview and installer notes

The UniFi Access G2 Starter Kit covers one door with everything included: the G2 reader for the wall, the Access Hub that switches the lock and two fobs to get started. For sites that already run UniFi networking or cameras, the door shows up in the same interface as everything else, which managers genuinely appreciate. We use this kit in Chicago offices, back doors of retail spaces and service entrances in multifamily buildings where a full multi-door controller would be overkill. It wires to a standard electric strike or maglock, and adding more doors later just means adding hubs and readers — the credentials and management stay the same. Worth knowing: for larger HOA projects with 8 or more doors we usually compare it against Brivo and Paxton platforms, but for one or two doors on an existing UniFi network the starter kit is hard to argue with on value.

Service, upgrade and maintenance

If you already have Ubiquiti hardware on site and the system is unstable, we can audit it, fix urgent issues and plan upgrades step by step instead of forcing a complete replacement. This includes systems originally installed by other vendors.

We offer free estimates for projects in our service area. New service clients also receive a 50% discount on the first service visit for troubleshooting and diagnostics, including systems we did not install.
